Vision Multisports Outaouais is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the development of sport throughout the region. By managing sports facilities and creating innovative initiatives, VMSO helps build a stronger future for the youth and communities of the Outaouais region.

To bring ambitious projects to life, three visionaries founded Vision Multisports Outaouais (VMSO), a nonprofit organization, in August 2008. Guided by its vision and mission as a social enterprise, VMSO completed its first major project in 2013 with the construction of the Branchaud-Brière Sports Complex in Gatineau.
In Phase II, VMSO expanded its impact through the construction of a second major facility, the Slush Puppie Centre, which opened in 2021 and has since been managed by the organization. This milestone enabled VMSO to implement a strategic plan that reflects its growing role in the development and management of premier sports infrastructure in the region.
Through its modern, accessible facilities and its commitment to delivering efficient, professional services aligned with today’s sports trends, VMSO helps strengthen the Outaouais region’s reputation within the Quebec and Canadian sports communities.
VMSO’s proven expertise in sports facility operations and program delivery, combined with rigorous and responsible administrative management, provides a strong foundation for the organization’s short-, medium-, and long-term success.
Building on its internal strengths and the opportunities within its operating environment, VMSO has identified a series of strategic priorities and developed a three-year implementation plan covering the period from 2024 to 2027. This strategic direction will define VMSO’s future positioning and guide its continued growth and impact.

An arena with over 4,500 seats and three community ice rinks
At the Slush Puppie Centre, it is not only a venue for shows and major events. Our three community ice rinks also provide the public with opportunities to participate in a variety of sports, including hockey, figure skating, speed skating, and many other activities.
Complexe Branchaud-Brière
A 1,000-seat arena and an indoor FIFA-standard field
At the Branchaud-Brière Sports Complex, we actively contribute to the development of sports within our community through facilities designed to accommodate a wide range of disciplines. Our two ice rinks host training sessions and sporting events, while our FIFA-standard indoor synthetic field allows athletes to practice year-round, regardless of weather conditions, including soccer, Ultimate Frisbee, football, baseball, and many other activities.

The Slush Puppie Centre is the home of the Gatineau Olympiques. We are proud to provide fans with a gathering place where they can experience the greatest moments of their hometown team.

Since its creation more than 10 years ago, the Festival des Jeux de Gatineau (FDJ) has been led and organized by Vision Multisports Outaouais. Year after year, VMSO continues to grow this event in order to provide families with a unique experience and contribute to the vitality of the community.

A very modern venue capable of hosting a wide variety of events. The building is highly accessible, with elevators and escalators providing easy access to all levels for event attendees. Accessible seating for people with reduced mobility is available on all four sides of the venue.
We had the opportunity to play a few games at the Slush Puppie Centre’s main arena and were very impressed by the quality of the seating, the atmosphere, and the cleanliness of the facilities. Simply an outstanding arena that is not to be missed!
